In 2023 SNAKEATSNAKE's debut album was re-released on a limited edition of cassettes and discs. Nine extra tracks were added to it. Included in this online release are two remixes of ALL IS LOST, a demo of the track with the original 2012 instrumental, a demo version and one without vocals of the track BITE, as well as a remix of BLOODTHIRST that can be found on these physical copies.

Originally the album was released in 2021 by AEON Tapes, a Bulgarian underground label under catalog number OOO. It included 12 tracks (which were published online) and two bonus demo tracks which were hidden in the manually dubbed orange tapes.

The album it's an expanded version of the first EP called "All is Lost" which includes four songs. "Snakeatsnake" is built mainly on reworked and re-recorded tracks which were first put together in 2012-2013 under the name "Gefährlicher Reiz" and focus more on the simple monotonous primal EBM sound. The lyrics are in German and don't stick to a rigid concept, which on the debut album is much more complete and clear. The themes of the texts go by the inanimate - the mechanical and the spiritual - invisible to the eye.
