This is SNAKEATSNAKE's part of a split with Hollow Reflection. The release is called "ABBYS / CONCRETE" and it features five tracks from each band.

The songs included in the mix are in Bulgarian and deal with themes from everyday life during the Iron Curtain, romanticizing and playing with isolated elements of it.

The piece "Trauma" is a self-destructive symphony caused by the main character's self-awareness of his own power and the influence his social environment has on him.

"Factory Bread" works like a time machine that tries to distinguish our childhood memories from the harsh reality.

"Concrete" is a dedication to all the concrete poured during socialism and to its modern fetishization and reuse. As well as in general for the common grandiosity and fetish towards the destruction of nature and everything around us.

"Sabotage" is a lie. An alternate reality story told from the mouth of an unknown scientist about a found artifact depicting "two snake heads biting each other" - the logo of the project, portraiting the inner impulse of the human race to self-destruct.

"Steel thought" is a image of a person's struggle to stand up for his personal views, regardless of whether they border on madness or are contrary to what society and others think is normal.

"Hits below the belt" is pretty hardcore punk at its core because it's about betrayal and how we always have to be on guard.
